Turkish movie “Muhabbat Eik Itefaq” to Hit Pakistani Cinemas Soon

After the telecast of numerous Turkish dramas dubbed in Urdu ranging from Ishq-e-Memnoo to Fatima Gul to Junoon Tere Ishq Ka, viewers have very fine flavor of the drama industry in Turkey.

However now it is the golden time for Turkish film and drama industry to telecast their film on the silver screen of the Pakistan named ‘Muhabbat Eik Itefaq’ it will be the first Turkish film that will be launched and telecasted in Pakistan.

Turkish dramas tend to be named from the Urdu words, Indian native in addition to Bangladesh likewise. The story of this film revolves around Deniz who is in love with Buraq but the main problem is this that the parents of the burq are not agreed at this proposal and not are agreed to marry Buraq with Deniz. However, Deniz is an ambitious girl and she refuses to give up her career at any cost.

On the other hand Ozgur is a photographer who meets Deniz in an exhibition and they realize that they both are met before. At this point the love triangle starts and Ozgur fall in love with Danes. Deniz’s acting career entangled with her relationship with Buraq and then Ozgur falling for Deniz. This love triangle is the film to see with full classic climax and interest.

It is the success of the Pakistani film production department to successfully dub the voices of the Turkish actress to the Urdu.

Premiere of Zinda Bhaag

Zinda Bhaag, a comedy thriller with debut performances by non-actors and featuring one of India’s finest actors Naseeruddin Shah, premiered at Super cinema Shabistan in Lahore.
The Pakistani Academy Selection Committee has selected “Zinda Bhaag” as the first Pakistani film in over 50 years to be submitted for Oscar consideration in the Foreign Language Film Award category at the 86th Academy Awards.
Pakistani film “Zinda Bhaag” shot in the culturally-rich city of Lahore, the film would appeal to the average cinemagoer for its originality and aesthetic. Anyone familiar with the crude Punjabi dialect would identify with the dry wit and humour that makes for much of the dialogue.
The script follows three friends who dream of moving abroad but are inextricably bound to the country in spite of the best-laid plans. Naseeruddin Shah is a powerhouse actor and is just flawless in a character of an area don, which has been written with him in mind.
‘Zinda Bhaag’ also boasts one of the best film soundtracks to come out from Pakistan in the recent times and if the movie was marketed properly; this album would already have been a massive hit.

An array of Pakistan’s leading designers knocked out the runway of the most prestigious Fashion Pakistan USA 2013, showcasing their latest incarnations.
The extravaganza of Fashion Pakistan USA 2013 was accompanied with colorful line up of fashion models walking in heavenly designer wear. The designers exhibiting their collection at Fashion Pakistan USA 2013 included Asim Jofa, Sania Maskatiya, Nida Azwer, CARA, Samreen’s Closet, Ghazala Asam, Aasme, Sonar & Cayma Emran. The fashion models catwalk to mark the signature Pakistani style was by Rubab Adnan, Uzma, Irum, Saima Azhar and some others.
The big crowd splashing at the Fashion Pakistan USA 2013 to catch the Pakistani designers wear was of upto 1200 guests who grabbed the latest trends introduced in Pakistan, while staying in USA.

Pakistan Idol to be launched this year

Geo Television in collaboration with Fremantle Media will be launching the new upcoming music reality show Pakistan Idol. Pakistan Idol will be the fourth franchised TV series in Pakistan and Geo TV Network attained the license of Pakistani franchise of Idols series in 2007. There is no news till now when auditions will be held for Pakistan Idol.
Initially airing in 2001 as the British television series Pop Idol, Idols was first adapted in Poland as Idol. Since it adapted in over 46 regions around the world as the most successful entertainment formats in television history. American Idol was started in 2002 and has been completed 13 seasons successfully as the most hit show of America.
Indian Idol airs from Sony TV also very famous in Pakistan. Its first season was started in 2004 and Abhijeet Sawant won the competition in March, 2005. Till now six seasons of Indian Idol have been aired, recently along Indian Idol Junior.
Pakistan Idols aims to find the most outstanding unsigned solo recording artist of Pakistan. Through mass auditions, a group of finalists will be selected by a panel with critiques on their performances. The finalist’s then advance to the weekly live shows where they will receive the least amount of votes by television audience and will be eliminated.
At grand finale of Pakistan Idol two or three finalists will compete and the winner will be declared based on the largest percentage of votes. The winner will receive a recording contract, monetary prizes, and a title as their nation’s Idol, Superstar or Star.
Now it’s the time for GEO TV to bring music talent of Pakistan in front of all waiting by millions of youngster from cities, villages, towns and bottom through biggest music dome. Let’s see who will be crowned by making the history of Pakistan, to become Pakistan’s first idol ever.

Launch of Khaliq’s Flagship Store

Here’s another new fashion presentation for fashion lovers to be indulged in fashion styling more intensely.
Khaliq has launched its first flagship store at zamzama Karachi; the launch featured a chic fashion presentation. The event launch was attended by high profile celebrities and socialites. The exclusive guests invited at the launch of of Khaliq’s store included fashion designer Ayaan, Abeer, Gia, Lamiya, Marvi,  Naja, Anas, Asher, Ather, Hammad, Ayesha, Hasan, Sukaina, Muazam, Munaf, Fizza, Mehreen, Raza, Nabeel, Nazil, Tehmina khaled, Nazneen, Saba, Akther, Saima, Zahid, Scheery, Moiz and many more.
Hair and make-up for the fashion presentation was done by Sabs while choreography was managed by Nabeel Shaukat.
The media and PR of the event were done by Tehmina khaled TAKEII.

Dance & Music Performances at Veet Celebrations of Beauty

Celebration of Beauty featured music and dance performances, including numbers by Ali Azmat and Zoe Viccaji, Sara Raza Khan and dance performances by Mehwish Hayat and Sara Loren (Monalisa who has chosen a pornstar name for herself).
The act started with a really cool LED show and the dancers did a really neat performance. The golden times of the decade were the focus of the song and dance tribute to Madam Noorjehan and performed by Sara Raza on vocals.
Mahwish Hayat opened the VINTAGE Segment with a performance set to an adaptation of Nur Jehan’s ‘Mehki Fizain’ from the film, Koel (1959). Mehwish Hayat did a good job in a peacock theme costume danced. Zoe Viccaji paid tribute to Nazia Hassan in RETRO Segment covering of Nazia Hassan’s Aap Jaisa Koi.
Ali Azmat completely overshadowed Ali Xeeshan’s pop Segment. The rock star still has energy worth a couple of hundred volts and was impactful with super hits Neeli Neeli Aankhoon, Mera Mahi and Sajna. Film and TV actress Sara Loren concluded the ceremony and brought the evening to a close.
The first ever Veet Beauty Awards were presented to the best and brightest of Pakistan’s fashion, beauty and entertainment industries. It was complete with the socialites, finger food, air kissing, DSLR totting kids, wannabe models.
The look and feel of the event was elegant and impressive. Even the stage was aesthetically appealing looked very dignified.
Dance & Music Performances at Veet Celebrations of Beauty was attended by  Aamina Sheikh, Mehwish Hayat, Humaima Malik, Cyra Yousuf, Amna Ilyas, Saima Azhar, Mahnoor Baloch and several other fashion and television actors were exhibited at the seventh Veet Celebration of Beauty held at the Expo Centre in Karachi.
