Pakistani Fashion Week UK Deep Red

Amrah, a promising fashion designer from Islamabad who was born in England, is making waves on the Pakistani fashion horizon. She chose the name Deep Red for her brand as a fitting representation of Asian weddings and celebrations. Her design philosophy is based on the cultural traditions of her home country, Pakistan.
The launch of her formal design collection at Je Roche Fashion House, Manchester in mid 2011 was a spectacular success and has set the tone for a successful year.
Essentially a classicist, Amrah brings in experimentalism into her design. Fine detailing with heritage fabrics, the use of embroidery for textural enhancement and crafty use of cuts results in clothes that are functional yet feminine; she creates fashion with a strong flavor.
Amrah’s beautifully tailored designs are already receiving praise from hard-to-please fashion critics. Amrah is ambitious, she wants to serve both ready-to-wear and couture clients with an entire lifestyle collection that includes exclusive jewellery and accessories

Deep Red’s stunning collection flowed down the catwalk in a stunning display of long floaty dresses with funky trousers, featuring peg leg styles and tight ankle length pyjamas. Beautiful pieces such as their pleated dress with a crystal embellished waistband completely stole the show.
